Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Cohere Technologies would like to test an innovative solution at or near our facilities in San Francisco, A. The proposed transmitter is not yet type approved, and will comply with section 2.803 of the rules.
Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
Cohere Technologies has developed a new modulation technique using Orthogonal Time Frequency Shift modulation (OTFS). The modulation technique promises to deliver higher spectral efficiency, no intra-cell interference, resilience to fading, multipath diversity and among other increased throughput techniques, may very well qualify as a new 5G air interface.
