Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Applicant is a television microwave and communications equipment rental company which provides video, audio and communications for broadcast, satellite broadcast and cablecast of sporting and other events. Applicant has certain LTTS, BAS and private wireless licenses for this purpose. However, the spectrum demands at sports events, and the limited LTTS/BAS spectrum for these events makes it necessary to make coordinated, temporary use of additional channels in certain TV channels. Such is necessary to have sufficient audio at numerous locations at football stadiums, or in arenas.
Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
Provide portable Audio & Communications sources at the MLB Playoffs and World Series televised sports events.
