Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
CACI seeks approval to broadcast in portions of the S and C Band reserved for use by the Federal Government. CACI does not currently have an active Federal sponsor who could authorize the broadcast in the reserved bands.
Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:
CACI seeks FCC special temporary authority to evaluate IP mesh radio equipment and associated software designed to support wireless video communications capabilities and functionalities. It proposes to operate a limited number of low power, temporary, fixed base transmitters and associated mobile units outdoors at and near the CACI premises in High Point, NC. The IP mesh radio network would be utilized to demonstrate and validate the system’s capabilities for federal customers.
