This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of frequencies 2210, 2225, 2250, 2262, 2275 and 2290 MHz. The purpose is to test a new video capture system at National Hockey League (NHL) venues for the period of December 1, through December 31, 2017. A schedule of the dates and time of operation at each venue has been attached. The units will operate only inside the venues listed in this application with a maximum ERP of 50 mW. The cameras will be located 1-2 meters above the ice and be capable of capturing video both on the ice as well as in the adjacent stands to enhance crowd safety. Broad Comm provides radio frequency support services to various entities at major events. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for numerous previous events.
