Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
This regards a request by Broad Comm, Inc. (Broad Comm) for Special Temporary Authority (STA) to allow use of frequencies 2365, 2375 and 2395 MHz for the purpose of providing support and coverage of the Tour of California Bicycle Race from May 13 through May 20, 2018. The application is in addition to application file number 0794-EX-ST-2018 previously filed and is just now being submitted due to a delay in receiving AFTRCC approval that was received today (copy attached). Broad Comm provides radio frequency support services to broadcasters and broadcast network entities for coverage of major events. The FCC has granted Broad Comm and others similar requests for several previous events.
