Application Narrative for Proposed Equipment

Company Background:

Boom Technology, Inc. is a commercial supersonic aircraft manufacturer located in Denver,
Colorado. The company is currently developing its subscale prototype XB-1 demonstrator
aircraft, scheduled to begin testing in late 2019 and fly to a speed of Mach 2.2. The XB-1 effort
is being conducted in parallel and with the longer-term development of Boom’s 55-75 passenger
Part 25 supersonic aircraft, Overture. More on Boom’s background and charter can be found at:

Proposed Program:

The proposed program to bring GPS signal availability into our hangar and manufacturing area
will provide a needed indoor, controlled location for assembling and testing the XB-1 aircraft
which includes numerous GPS-enabled flight deck and instrumentation devices. The indoor
availability of GPS will also provide a location for performing XB-1 maintenance on the GPS
enabled products and devices.

We propose to re-radiate GPS L1/L2 signals for indoor hangar availability using the GPSRKL12
Repeater Assembly kit procured from GPS Source. This kit comprises an externally mounted
GPS L1/L2 receiving antenna, GPS L1/L2 signal amplifier with 30dB gain and an internally
mounted GPS L1/L2 transmission antenna. More information on the equipment can be found at:
