The standard mode of operation is for the transmitted signal to be pulse
modulated with 533 microsecond pulses at a 100 Hz repetition rate. The 533
microsecond pulses are in turn modulated with complimentary bi-phase (180
degree phase reversal) phase codes containing 16 chips of 33 microseconds
