The answer to your question is that there is a change of band being used. The LoRA protocol can be
used in several frequency bands. The testing conducted under the original STA tried several low
frequency bands used by LoRA but found them to be problematic. So the device has been redesigned to
use the 900 MHz ISM band with a 30 dBm (1 W) maximum transmit power. It then communicates to a
cell phone using Bluetooth in the 2.4 GHz ISM band with a 4 dBm maximum transmit power. The other
frequencies in the original STA are not being used any longer.
