Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Ball Aerospace is developing a receive-only S-band phased array antenna system for the US Navy under subcontract by L3Harris. The performance of the contract requires demonstration of the antennas ability to track multiple physically dispersed transmitters in an outdoor setting.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Testing antenna. Up to six ground-based transmitters would be placed outside during system and acceptance testing to simulate final operation capabilities of the antennas ability to detect and track the transmissions and verify proper performance.
