St. NW Washington, DC 20554 ATTN: Carl Huie Dear Mr. Huie: In Cooperation with the FAA and Department of Defense (Naval Air Systems Command agreement # NOOO019—96— H—0017), development of the Transportable Transponder Landing System (TTLS) by ANPC is close to completion. We are requesting a Special Temporary Authorization of 180 days to cover the system use time until testing is completed. We are also expecting the FAA study on the 1030Mhz and 1090Mhz frequencies to be completed in this same time frame. ANPC has had an experimental license for Dallesport in the past, and I have attached a copy of that license (file # 4912—EX—PL—95 Call Sign KA2XEU).
