Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
To complete DoD AIMS certification of an SSR-type surveillance system. AIMS 03-1201 Bench Performance Test has already occurred. The system transmits 1030 Mhz Mode A and C interrogations to its service volume. The system uses a single 1090 Mhz pulse for built-in-test. ANPC has the 1030/1090 coordinations in place for this location: 1030 NG T050070 1090 NG T050071

Please explain the purpose of operation:  1. Perform DoD AIMS 03-1202 System Installation Test; 2. Perform DoD AIMS 03-1203 System Operational Test.
