The radiating system (ARTEMIS SlimSAR-X) will be operated within a 15
nautical mile radius of Elberta, UT (39.952 deg N / 111.956 deg W).
This boundary consists mainly of sparsely-populated, rural areas. The
class-D airspace surrounding Provo Municipal airport (KPVU) and the
uncontrolled airspace surrounding Spanish Fork-Springville Municipal
airport (U77) are outside of this operating radius. The aircraft will
operate from the Spanish Fork-Springville Municipal airport (U77), but
the radar system will not radiate until the aircraft is within the
operating radius.
