13. Description
Planet Labs Inc. (Planet) requests an additional 30-day extension of the special temporary authority (STA) granted in File Nos. SAT-STA-20170225-00022, SAT-STA-20170407-00059, and SAT-STA-20170511-00072 incorporated herein by reference, to communicate in the 8025-8400 MHz band with ground stations in Troll, Antarctica and Punta Arenas, Chile. Grant of this extension request will provide Planet with the additional downlink capacity needed to support the transmission of imaging data from its satellite constellation pending the filing of its permanent application for an earth station in Inuvik, Canada, and accordingly serves the public interest.
