Re: Spire Global, Inc. Annual Report for Call Sign S2946

Spire Global, Inc. (“Spire”) is the licensee of the authorized remote sensing satellite system
operating under Call Sign S2946 and hereby submits this report on the operation of the satellite
system for the 2016 annual period from June 1, 2015 to May 31, 2016. This report is being filed
pursuant to Section 25.170 of the Commission’s rules.

    I. Status of Satellite System

On March 18, 2016, the Commission granted in part Spire’s application for authority to
construct, deploy, and operate a constellation of up to 175 technically identical non-geostationary
satellites.1 The grant authorized nine satellites to be deployed either from the International Space
Station (“ISS”) or from the Cygnus cargo capsule.

On May 18, 2016, four of these satellites were successfully deployed from the ISS into their
target orbit of 400 km at 51.6 degrees inclination.2 We have established a communications link
with each of the four satellites, and the satellites, which are still in their post-deployment
checkout phase, appear to be operational.

II. Contact Person for Resolution of Interference Problems and For Emergency Response
             Purposes

Four of the remaining five satellites were successfully deployed into orbit from the Cygnus cargo capsule on June
21, 2016, which is outside of this reporting period. See Letter from Tony Lin, Counsel for Spire, to Marlene H.
