The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission
reserves the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public
Notice may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions,
oppositions and other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's
rules, unless otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

Launch and Operating Authority


DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC requests authority to launch and operate a geostationary- orbit space station, to be known as DIRECTV KU-45W,
which will provide Fixed-Satellite Service, including Direct-to-Home services, from the 45.2° W.L orbital location using the following frequency
bands: 10.95-11.2 GHz, 11.45-11.7 GHz, and 11.95-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth); and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space). DIRECTV also requests
authority to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command functions for the DIRECTV KU-45W space station at 45.2° W.L. using the following
center frequencies: 11.695 GHz and 11.697 GHz (space-to-Earth); and 14.495 GHz and 14.497 GHz (Earth-to-space). DIRECTV seeks waivers
of Sections 25.114(c)(9) and 25.114(d)(3) of the Commission's rules in connection with its request.
