SAT-MOD-20130225-00024 E S2134 SES Americom, Inc. Date Filed: 02/25/2013 22:19:51:96600 Modification SES Americom, Inc. requests to modify its authorization for the AMC-2 space station to specify operations at the 80.85° W.L. orbital location, instead of its currently assigned 19.2° E.L. orbital location. SES Americom seeks to provide Fixed-Satellite Service, including direct-to-home service, at 80.85° W.L. in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. SES Americom also seeks authority to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations to maintain AMC-2 at 80.85° W.L. with an east-west stationkeeping volume of +/- 0.15 degrees using the following center frequencies: 3700.5 MHz (space-to-Earth), 4199.5 MHz (space-to-Earth), and 6423.5 MHz (Earth-to-space). As part of its request, SES Americom seeks waivers of Sections 25.210(j) and 25.114(d)(3) of the Commission's rules.
