Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. SAT-MOD-20121224-00221 E S2181 SES Americom, Inc. Date Filed: 12/24/2012 11:39:41:57000 Modification SES Americom, Inc. seeks to modify its authorization for the AMC-16 space station to permit reorientation of the space station's Ka-band beams. AMC-16 is operating at the 85° W.L. orbital location in the 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space), 18.6-18.8 GHz (space-to-Earth), 19.7-20.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 28.4-28.6 GHz (Earth-to-space), and 29.5-30.0 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. SES Americom does not seek any changes to the gain contours of the space station's Ku-band beams. SES Americom requests waivers of Sections 25.114(d)(14)(ii) and 25.283(c) of the Commission's rules in connection with its application.
