The effective date of these actions is the release date of this Notice, except where an effective date is specified. SAT-LOA-20120322-00058 E S2862 Skybox Imaging, Inc. Launch and Operating Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 09/20/2012 Nature of Service: Earth Exploration Satellite Service On September 20, 2012, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, authority to Skybox Imaging, Inc. to construct, launch and operate a non-geostationary-orbit satellite system consisting of two Earth Exploration Satellite Service space stations, Skybox-1 and Skybox-2. Skybox-1 and Skybox-2 are authorized to transmit telemetry signals and remote-sensing data in the 8025-8400 MHz frequency band (space-to-Earth) from high-inclination circular orbits with altitudes from 450 to 637 kilometers, depending on the launch vehicle utilized, and with inclination ranging between 85 and 100 degrees. Skybox-1 and Skybox-2 are also authorized to receive command signals on center frequencies of 2081 MHz and 2083 MHz. SAT-LOI-20110809-00150 E S2836 Inmarsat Hawaii Inc. SAT-STA-20120823-00141 E S2847 Intelsat License LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 09/19/2012 On September 19, 2012, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority for a period of 30 days to Intelsat License LLC in connection with operations of the Intelsat 20 space station. Intelsat is authorized to continue to conduct in-orbit testing of Intelsat 20 at 63.15º E.L. in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6675 MHz (Earth-to-space), 10.95-11.20 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.45-11.70 GHz (space-to-Earth), 12.50-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth), 13.75-14.50 GHz (Earth-to-space), 29.50-30.00 GHz (Earth-to-space), and 19.70-20.20 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands. Intelsat is also authorized to operate telemetry, tracking, and command using center frequencies of 12.7465 GHz, 12.7470 GHz, 12.7480 GHz, and 12.7485 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 13.7505 GHz and 14.4980 GHz (Earth-to-space) to support in-orbit testing operations at the 63.15º E.L. orbital location and to effect Intelsat 20's drift to its authorized location of 68.5º E.L. upon the completion of operations at 63.15º E.L.
