The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission
reserves the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public
Notice may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions,
oppositions and other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's
rules, unless otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

Intelsat License LLC requests modification of its authorization for the Intelsat 8 space station to specify operations at 169.10° E.L. instead of at
Intelsat 8's currently authorized location of 166.0° E.L. Intelsat requests authority to provide Fixed-Satellite Service at 169.10° E.L. using the
3700-4200 MHz (Earth-to-space), 5925-6425 MHz (space-to-Earth), 12.25-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (space-to-Earth)
frequency bands. Intelsat also requests authority to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command functions at 169.10° E.L. using the center
frequencies of 12747 MHz (space-to-Earth), 12748 MHz (space-to-Earth), and 13998 MHz (Earth-to-space). Intelsat seeks a waiver of the U.S.
Table of Frequency Allocations, Section 2.106 of the Commission's rules, to operate in the 12.25-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency band in
ITU Region 2. Intelsat also seeks waivers, to the extent necessary, of Sections 25.164(a) and 25.165 of the Commission's rules in connection with
proposed operations in the 12.25-12.75 GHz and 14.0 -14.5 GHz frequency bands.

command functions at 43.10° W.L. using the center frequencies of 11700.5 MHz and 11702.5 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 14494.5 MHz and
14000.5 MHz (Earth-to-space). Intelsat seeks waivers of Section 2.106, footnote NG104, and Section 25.202(a)(1) of the Commission's rules in
connection with its request.

Special Temporary Authority


Intelsat License LLC requests special temporary authority for a period of 180 days to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command functions
necessary to drift the Intelsat 9 space station from its currently authorized location of 58.0° W.L to 43.10° W.L. using the center frequencies of
11700.5 MHz and 11702.5 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 14494.5 MHz and 14000.5 MHz (Earth-to-space). Intelsat also requests special temporary
authority to provide Fixed-Satellite Service upon arrival at 43.10° W.L. using the 3700 - 4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925 - 6425 MHz
(Earth-to-space), 11.45 - 11.70 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.7 - 12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0 - 14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands.
Intelsat seeks waivers of Section 2.106, footnote NG104, and Section 25.202(a)(1) of the Commission's rules in connection with its requests.
