The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission
reserves the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public
Notice may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions,
oppositions and other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's
rules, unless otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

SES Americom, Inc. requests modification of its authorization for the AMC-2 space station in order to specify operations at the 19.0º E.L. orbital
location, rather than its currently licensed location of 4.98º E.L. SES seeks authority to provide Fixed-Satellite Service, including direct-to-home
service, in the 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. SES also seeks authority to use the
following center frequencies for telemetry, tracking and control: 6423.5 MHz (Earth-to-space); 3700.5 MHz, 4100.5 MHz, and 12198.0 MHz
(space-to-Earth). SES requests waivers of Sections 25.114(d)(3), 25.202(g), and 25.210(j) of the Commission's rules in connection with its
request.
