SAT-STA-20120306-00037 E S2850 Intelsat License LLC Special Temporary Authority Withdrawn Effective Date: 05/09/2012 SAT-STA-20120329-00063 E S2388 Intelsat License LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 05/09/2012 On May 9, 2012, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC for a period of 180 days, commencing on May 20, 2012, to continue to provide fixed-satellite services via the Intelsat 702 space station at the 47.5º E.L. orbital location in the 5925-6425 MHz and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) and 3700-4200 MHz, 10.95-11.2 GHz, 11.45-11.7 GHz and 12.5-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands. Intelsat is also authorized to continue to conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations necessary to maintain the Intelsat 702 space station at the 47.5º E.L. orbital location using the 6173.7 MHz and 6176.3 MHz (Earth-to-space); 3947.5 MHz; 3948.0 MHz, 3952.5 MHz, and 3952.0 MHz (space-to-Earth) center frequencies. On May 9, 2012, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC to continue to perform in-orbit testing of the Intelsat 22 space station at the 63.1º E.L. orbital location for a period of 30 days. Intelsat is authorized to operate Intelsat 22 for testing purposes only at the 63.1º E.L. orbital location in the following frequency bands: 3625-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5850-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 11450-11700 MHz (space-to-Earth), 14000-14500 MHz (Earth-to-space), and 12250-12750 MHz (space-to-Earth). Additionally, Intelsat is authorized to operate telemetry, tracking, and telecommand in the C- and Ku-bands to support both testing operations at the 63.1° W.L. orbital location, and drift of Intelsat 22 to its authorized location of 72.1º E.L. upon the completion of in-orbit testing, using the following center frequencies: 4197.25/4198.25 MHz or 4197.75/4198.75 MHz, 5850.5 MHz, and 6424.5 MHz.
