Launch and Operating Authority


DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC seeks authority to launch and operate a Ku-band space station, to be known as DIRECTV KU-79W, at the 79.0º
W.L. orbital location. The DIRECTV KU-79W space station is designed to provide direct-to-home service in the fixed-satellite service in the
11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequencies. DIRECTV will conduct telemetry, tracking, and control
functions using the 11704 MHz and 11705 MHz frequencies. DIRECTV requests a waiver of the requirement to specify the address and contact
information for its telemetry, tracking, and control remote control point. See also IBFS File No. SAT-AMD-20120420-00071.

Intelsat License LLC seeks authority to construct, launch, and operate a space station, to be known as Intelsat 21, at the 58.0 W.L. orbital location.
Intelsat seeks authority to provide fixed-satellite service via Intelsat 21 using the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz
(Earth-to-space), 11.45-12.20 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Intelsat also seeks authority to
conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations using the frequencies of 11451.25/11453.25 MHz or 11451.75/11453.75 MHz, 13750.5
MHz and 13994.5 MHz . Intelsat seeks waivers of Sections 25.210(i)(1), 25.210(a)(3), 25.202(g), and Footnote 2 of Section 25.202 (a)(1) of the
Commission's rules.
