Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service

On January 31, 2012, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the application of Intelsat License LLC, to modify the authorization for its
Horizons 2 space station in order to specify operations of Horizons 2 at the 84.85° E.L. orbital location instead of 74.05° W.L. Intelsat is
authorized to provide fixed-satellite service via Horizons 2 in the 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.00-14.50 GHz (Earth-to-space)
frequency bands. Additionally, Intelsat is authorized to conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations necessary to maintain Horizons
2 at the 84.85° E.L. orbital location using the following Ku-band frequencies: 12196.0 MHz and 12198.625 MHz (horizontal or right-hand
polarization/space-to-Earth); 14000.5 MHz (Horizontal or left-hand circular polarization/Earth-to-space) and 14499.5 MHz (Vertical or left-hand
circular polarization/Earth-to-space).

On January 31, 2012, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to SES Americom, Inc., for a period of 60 days,
to operate the AMC-2 space station at the 4.98° E.L. orbital location. Accordingly, SES Americom is authorized to provide fixed-satellite service,
including direct-to-home services, via AMC-2 at the 4.98° E.L. orbital location using the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz
(Earth-to-space), 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. SES Americom is also authorized to
operate telemetry, tracking and telecommand operations necessary to maintain AMC-2 at 4.98° E.L. using the following frequencies and
polarizations: 6423.5 MHz with horizontal polarization in the Earth-to-space direction: 3700.5 MHz and 4199.5 MHz with vertical polarization in
the space-to-Earth direction; and 12198.0 MHz horizontal polarization in the space-to-Earth direction.
