The effective date of these actions is the release date of this Notice, except where an effective date is specified. SAT-STA-20111206-00235 E S2369 DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 01/06/2012 On January 6, 2012, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC, for a period of 60 days, to conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations necessary to drift the DIRECTV 1R space station from the 72.5° W.L. orbital location to the 109.8° W.L. orbital location. DIRECTV is authorized to use the 17,305 MHz and 17,799 MHz frequencies for telecommand and the 12,698.25 and 12,699.25 MHz frequencies for telemetry during these operations. We take the administrative action of re-assigning the call sign S2369 to the DIRECTV 1R space station. SAT-STA-20111215-00239 E S2134 SES Americom, Inc. Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 01/12/2012 On January 12, 2012, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to SES Americom, Inc., for a period of 60 days, to conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations necessary to continue to drift the AMC-2 space station from the 78.95° W.L. orbital location to the 4.98° E.L. orbital location. Accordingly, SES is authorized to conduct TT&C operations using the following center frequencies and polarizations: 6423.5 MHz with horizontal polarization in the Earth-to-space direction; 3700.5 MHz with horizontal polarization, 4199.5 MHz with vertical polarization, and 12198 MHz with horizontal polarization in the space-to-Earth direction. SAT-STA-20111223-00251 E S2156 SES Americom, Inc. Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 01/12/2012 On January 12, 2012, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to SES Americom, Inc., for a period of 60 days, to continue to conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations necessary to drift the AMC-5 Ku-band satellite from the 79.10° W.L. orbital location to the 80.90° W.L. orbital location and to operate temporarily its Ku-band payload at the 80.90° W.L. orbital location. Specifically, SES is authorized to conduct TT&C operations using the center frequencies of 14.001 GHz (telecommand) and 11.701 and 11.702 GHz (telemetry) and to operate the Ku-band payload of AMC-5 at 80.90° W.L. using the 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequencies.
