Special Temporary Authority

On December 6, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC for a period of 60 days
to continue to conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations necessary to maintain Galaxy 26 at the 50.0º E.L. orbital location using
the following frequencies: 4196.5 MHz, 4199.5 MHz , 6315.0 MHz, 4090.0 MHz, 5926.5 MHz, and 6411.0 MHz. Intelsat is also authorized to
continue to temporarily provide fixed-satellite services via Galaxy 26 in the Ku-band frequencies of 14.0-14.5 GHz and 11.7-12.2 GHz at the
50.0º E.L. orbital location on an unprotected, non-interference basis and subject to the power flux density limits placed on operations in the
11.7-12.2 GHz frequency band specified in the International Telecommunication Union Radio Regulations, Appendix 30, Annex 1, Sections 1(a)
and 4, for the protection of co-frequency broadcast-satellite service and terrestrial operations.

On December 8, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to EchoStar Corporation, for a period of 60
days, to continue to operate the EchoStar 6 space station at the 76.95° W.L. orbital location on Direct Broadcast Satellite channels 1-32. EchoStar
is authorized to operate EchoStar 6 at 76.95° W.L. with feeder links (Earth-to-space) in the 17.3-17.8 GHz band and service links (space-to-Earth)
in the 12.2-12.7 GHz band. EchoStar is also authorized to conduct on-station telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations for EchoStar 6 at
76.95° W.L. with command links at 17.305 GHz (Earth-to-space) and telemetry and beacon links at 12.203 GHz and 12.204 GHz (space-to-Earth).

On December 8, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC, for a period of 28 days
- commencing at 12:01 am on December 7, 2011, through January 4, 2012 - to continue to provide fixed-satellite services in the Ku-band
frequencies of 11700-12200 MHz via the Galaxy 26 space station at the 50.0º E.L. orbital location.

INFORMATIVE
On December 8, 2011, the Bureau determined that Intelsat License LLC met the launch and operation milestone associated with the
authorization for the Intelsat 18 satellite at the 180.0° E.L. orbital location. The Bureau previously found that Intelsat had met the first three
milestones. Consequently, Intelsat may release the bond associated with this authorization as provided in the Amendment of the
Commission's Space Station Licensing Rules and Policies, First Report and Order and Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, IB Docket
No. 02-34, 18 FCC Rcd 10760 (2003); Amendment of the Commission's Space Station Licensing Rules and Policies, First Order on
Reconsideration and Fifth Report and Order, IB Docket No. 02-34, 19 FCC Rcd 12637 (2004).
