Modification

Intelsat License LLC seeks authority to modify its authorization for the Horizons 2 space station in order to operate the Horizons 2 at the 84.85°
E.L. orbital location to provide fixed-satellite service in the 11700-12200 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 14000-14500 MHz (Earth-to-space)
frequency bands. Intelsat also seeks authority to conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations necessary to drift Horizons 2 from its
current location at 74.05° W.L. and to maintain Horizons 2 at 84.85° E.L. Intelsat seeks to use the following center frequencies for TT&C:
14000.5 MHz (Horizontal or Left-hand Circular Polarization, Earth-to-space), 14499.5 MHz (Vertical or Left-hand Circular Polarization,
Earth-to-space), and 12196.0 MHz and 12198.625 MHz (Horizontal or Right-hand Circular Polarization, space-to-Earth).

Date Filed: 10/25/2011 14:54:13:54600
Modification

SES Americom, Inc. requests authority to modify its authorization for the AMC-2 space station to operate AMC-2 at the 4.98° E.L. orbital
location, instead of its currently assigned location of 78.95° W.L. SES Americom seeks to provide fixed-satellite service, including
direct-to-home service, at 4.98° E.L. in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth),
and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. SES Americom also seeks authority to conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand
operations to maintain AMC-2 at 4.98° E.L. using the following center frequencies: 3700.5 MHz (space-to-Earth), 4199.5 MHz (space-to-Earth),
12198.0 MHz (space-to-Earth), and 6423.5 MHz (Earth-to-space). In addition, SES Americom seeks to extend the license term for AMC-2 from
March 5, 2012 to May 31, 2016, and to de-orbit AMC-2 at its end-of-life to a disposal orbit with a minimum perigee altitude of at least 150 km
above the geostationary arc. As part of its application, SES Americom seeks a waiver of Sections 25.210(j) and 25.114(d)(3) of the Commission's
rules.

DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC seeks a nine-year extension, through September 27, 2020, of the license term for its DIRECTV-4S space station,
which is authorized to operate at the 101.2º W.L. orbital location in the 12.2-12.7 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 17.3-17.8 GHz (Earth-to-space)
frequency bands. In addition, DIRECTV requests authority to conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations necessary to place the
DIRECTV-4S space station into a disposal orbit at the end of its useful life. In connection with this request, DIRECTV seeks waivers of Sections
