The Commission reserves the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Date Filed: 09/29/2011 14:39:51:90000 Modification SES Americom, Inc. requests authority to modify its authorization for its AMC-5 space station to allow it to provide fixed-satellite services, including direct-to-home services, in the 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) at the 80.9º W.L. orbital location instead of at its currently assigned location of 79º W.L. SES also seeks authority to operate telemetry, tracking, and telecommand functions in these bands to maintain AMC-5 at 80.9º W.L. SES requests a waiver of Section 25.210(j) of the Commission's rules in connection with its request.
