SAT-STA-19990525-00056 S2135 GE AMERICAN COMMUNICATIONS, INC. Special Temporary Authority GE American Communications, Inc. has filed an amendment to its request for Special Temporary Authority to permit it to test its GE-4 satellite for a 90 day period, prior to commencing regular operations of this satellite. (GE-4 was formerly known as GE-3.) GE Americom seeks authority to test the satellite at 72 degrees W.L. rather than at 81 degrees W.L. as requested in its initial filing of May 25, 1999. (See Public Notice, Report No. SAT-00019, June 17, 1999.) NOTE: COMMENTS on this amendment may be filed on or before AUGUST 11, 1999. REPLIES may be filed on or before AUGUST 18, 1999. CORRECTIONS SAT-MOD-19990624-00069 DBS8808 ECHOSTAR SATELLITE CORPORATION EchoStar Satellite Corporation's modification application, File No. SAT-MOD-19990624-00069, appeared on Public Notice, Report No. SAT-00020 (July 22, 1999), in error. EchoStar's entry on that Notice is cancelled and the application is removed from Public Notice.
