Nature of Service: Direct to Home Fixed Satellite, Fixed Satellite Service

On September 14, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of SES Americom, Inc. to modify the license of its AMC-5
space station to permit telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations using center frequencies of 14.001 GHz (telecommand) and 11.701 and
11.702 GHz (telemetry) necessary to relocate AMC-5 from its current orbital position of 79.05º W.L. to the 79.10º W.L. orbital location and to
maintain the AMC-5 space station at 79.10º W.L. as an in-orbit spare with an east-west station-keeping tolerance of +/-0.1 degrees. SES
Americom did not request, and was not granted, authority to activate the conventional Ku-band communications payload of AMC-5 at 79.10º
W.L. as part of this license modification.

days to continue to conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations with the Intelsat 603 space station and to continue to provide
Fixed-Satellite Service temporarily in certain C- and Ku-band frequencies from the 11.5º E.L. orbital location. Specifically, Intelsat is authorized
to provide FSS from this location in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 10950-11200 MHz (space-to-Earth),
11450-11700 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 14000-14500 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands, and to conduct TT&C using the following
frequencies: 6173.7 MHz, 6176.3 MHz, 3947.5 MHz, 3948.0 MHz, 3952.0 MHz, and 3952.5 MHz.

INFORMATIVE
SAT-LOA-20030827-00174 S2487 MSV International, LLC
On June 12, 2006, MSV International, LLC surrendered its authorization to operate a space station at the 63.5° W.L. orbital location. Letter
from Jennifer Manner, Counsel for MSV International, LLC, to Marlene H. Dortch, Secretary, FCC (June 12, 2006); Letter from Bruce
Jacobs, Counsel for LightSquared L.P., to Marlene H. Dortch, Secretary, FCC (August 17, 2011). The Ku-band feeder link frequencies,
10.7-10.95 GHz, 11.2-11.45 GHz, and 12.75-13.25 GHz, previously assigned to MSV at the 63.5° W.L. orbital location are now available
for reassignment pursuant to the Commission's first-come, first-served licensing process effective 2:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, September
20, 2011. At that time, applicants may file applications for new space stations, market access by non-U.S. licensed space stations,
modifications to licensed space stations, or amendments to pending applications taking this announcement into account. Applications for
the spectrum filed prior to this date and time will be dismissed as premature without prejudice to refiling.

The L-band spectrum frequencies on the surrendered authorization are not available for reassignment.
