Nature of Service:       Fixed Satellite Service


On March 22, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the application of Intelsat License LLC to modify its authority for its C- and
Ku-band space station, Intelsat 706, in order to permit operations at the 72.1º E.L. orbital location. Accordingly, Intelsat is granted authority to
provide Fixed-Satellite Service at the 72.1º E.L. orbital location using the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space),
10.95-11.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.45-11.70 GHz (space-to-Earth), 12.50-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space)
frequency bands. Additionally, Intelsat is authorized to operate telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations necessary to maintain Intelsat
706 at 72.1º E.L. using the following center frequencies: 6173.7 MHz and 6176.3 MHz (left-hand circular polarization/Earth-to-space); 3950
MHz (vertical polarization/space-to-Earth), 3947.5 MHz, 3948.0 MHz , 3952.5 MHz, 3952.0 MHz (right-hand circular
polarization/space-to-Earth), 11198 MHz and 11452 MHz (right-hand circular polarization/space-to-Earth); and 11701 MHz and 12501 MHz
(vertical and horizontal polarization/space-to-Earth).

On March 23, 2011, the Satellite Policy Branch granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Sirius XM Radio Inc., for a period of 180
days, to operate up to 1000 Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS) terrestrial repeaters on each of the Sirius XM and XM networks at
power levels between 2 watts and 12,000 watts equivalent isotropically radiated power (average) at various locations throughout the United
States. Repeaters will operate in both the 2320-2332.5 MHz and 2332.5-2345 MHz bands that are allocated exclusively to SDARS.

On March 23, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC for a period of 180 days,
to conduct Telemetry, Tracking, and Telecommand operations with the Intelsat 603 space station and to provide Fixed-Satellite Service
temporarily in certain C- and Ku-band frequencies from the 11.5º E.L. orbital location. Specifically, Intelsat is authorized to provide FSS from
this location in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 10950-11200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 11450-11700 MHz
(space-to-Earth) and 14000-14500 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands, and to conduct TT&C using the following frequencies: 6173.7 MHz,
6176.3 MHz, 3947.5 MHz, 3948.0 MHz, 3952.0 MHz, and 3952.5 MHz.

Special Temporary Authority
Grant of Authority                                                                                                    Effective Date:     03/21/2011



On March 21, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of DG Consents Sub, Inc. for special temporary authority, for a
period of 60 days, to conduct orbit-raising maneuvers to increase the orbital altitude of its QuickBird satellite from its present altitude of 450
kilometers to 496 kilometers, and to provide Earth Exploration Satellite Service from this increased altitude.
