Nature of Service:       Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service


On February 4, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of Satellite CD Radio, Inc. for authority to launch and operate
SIRIUS FM-6, a geostationary satellite, at the 115.2° W.L. orbital location to provide Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS) to
subscribers in the United States. The SIRIUS FM-6 satellite will operate service links (space-to-Earth) in the 2320.0-2332.5 MHz frequency
band. Feederlinks for the SIRIUS FM-6 satellite are authorized in the 7025-7075 MHz frequency band (Earth-to-space) in the fixed-satellite
service. Telemetry, tracking, & telecommand operations are authorized in both the 2320.0-2332.5 MHz and 7025-7075 MHz frequency bands.

Special Temporary Authority

On February 4, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority, for a period of 30 days, to GeoEye License
Corp. to continue to operate telemetry, tracking and telecommand frequencies during the de-orbiting of the OrbView-3 satellite through
atmospheric re-entry. GeoEye is authorized to operate TT&C in the 2092.536-2092.664 MHz and 402.69-402.75 MHz (Earth-to-space), and
401.47-401.53 MHz, 8189.982-8190.018 MHz and 8115-8265 MHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands.

Special Temporary Authority

On February 9, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to EchoStar Corporation for a period of 30 days
to conduct telemetry, tracking, and control in the 12.2-12.7 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 17.3-17.8 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands necessary
to operate the EchoStar 3 satellite at the 61.45º W.L. orbital location as an in-orbit spare satellite.

On February 9, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Lockheed Martin Corporation for 30 days to
continue to operate the LM-RPS1 space station outside its previously authorized +/-0.05º north/south and east/west station-keeping boxes.

On February 4, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to EchoStar Corporation, for a period of 30 days,
to conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations necessary to drift the EchoStar 6 space station from the 61.65º W.L. orbital location
to the 76.95º W.L. orbital location and to maintain it at the 76.95º W.L. orbital location. Specifically, EchoStar is authorized to use the 17305
MHz frequency for telecommand and the 12203 and 12204 MHz frequencies for telemetry and beacon links respectively during these operations.
