On January 20, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of SES Americom, Inc. to modify its authority for the AMC-5
satellite to allow SES to operate AMC-5 at the 79.05º W.L. orbital location instead of at its previously assigned orbital location at 78.95º W.L.
Accordingly, SES American is authorized to operate AMC-5 at 79.05º W.L. using the 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz
(Earth-to-space) bands. Addtionally, SES Americom is authorized to operate telemetry, tracking, and telecommand (TT&C) for AMC-5 at the
79.05º W.L. orbital location using the following frequencies: 14.001 GHz (telecommand), 11.701 GHz (telemetry), and 11.700 GHz (telemetry).

On January 14, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC (formerly PanAmSat
Licensee Corp.), for a period of 14 days, to operate the communications payload on the Galaxy 15 space station in the 3700-4200 MHz
(space-to-Earth) and 5952-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands at the 93.0º W.L. orbital location to conduct in-orbit testing.

Special Temporary Authority

On January 14, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC (formerly PanAmSat
Licensee Corp.) for a period of 30 days to continue to conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations for the Intelsat-2 satellite at the
174.0° E.L. orbital location and to provide Fixed-Satellite Service temporarily from this location using Intelsat-2. Intelsat is authorized to conduct
TT&C using the following frequencies: 6424.5 MHz (H) and 5925.5 MHz (H) (Earth-to-space), and 4198.5 MHz (H, V) and 4199.5 MHz (H, V)
(space-to-Earth). Intelsat is also authorized to operate Intelsat-2 in the C- and Ku-bands at 174.0° E.L. using the following frequencies:
3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 12250-12750 MHz (space-to-Earth), and 14000-14500 MHz
(Earth-to-space). Intelsat is also granted a limited waiver of Section 25.283(c) of the Commission's rules.
