Modification Grant of Authority Effective Date: 10/14/2010 Nature of Service: Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service On October 14, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the application of XM Radio Inc. to modify its authorization to operate the Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS) space station, XM-4, to provide SDARS at the 115.25° W.L. orbital location using the 2332.5-2345 MHz frequency band and to receive feederlinks in the 7025-7075 MHz frequency bands from this location. In addition, XM Radio is authorized to conduct Telemetry, Tracking, and Telecommand (TT&C) operations in the 2332.5-2345 MHz and 7025-7075 MHz frequency bands necessary to relocate the XM-4 space station to the 115.25° W.L. orbital location and to maintain the XM-4 space station at this location. XM Radio is also authorized to provide SDARS via XM-4 using the 2332.5-2345 MHz and 7025-7075 MHz frequency bands during the relocation to 115.25° W.L. SAT-STA-20101001-00204 E S2372 Lockheed Martin Corporation Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 10/13/2010 On October 13, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Lockheed Martin Corporation for 30 days to continue to operate the LM-RPS1 space station outside its previously authorized +/-0.05º north/south and east/west station-keeping boxes. SAT-STA-20101004-00208 E S2741 EchoStar Corporation Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 10/13/2010 On October 13, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to EchoStar Corporation for a period of 30 days to conduct telemetry, tracking, and control necessary to operate the EchoStar 3 satellite at the 61.45º W.L. orbital location as an in-orbit spare satellite.
