Special Temporary Authority

On August 24, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to SES Americom, Inc., for a period of 150 days,
to drift its C-band space station, SATCOM C-3, to the 79.15º W.L. orbital location. Accordingly, SES Americom is authorized to conduct
telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations with the SATCOM C-3 space station necessary to drift the SATCOM C-3 space station to the
79.15° W.L. orbital location and to maintain SATCOM C-3 at this location using the following frequencies: 3700.5 MHz
(Horizontal/space-to-Earth); 4199.5 (Vertical/space-to-Earth); and 6423.5 MHz (Horizontal/Earth-to-space).

On August 23, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Sirius XM Radio Inc., for a period of 180
days, to operate two satellite digital audio radio service (SDARS) terrestrial repeaters, each with an effective isotropically radiated power of up to
2000 watts (average) in the Baltimore, Maryland, area. These repeaters will operate in the 2320-2345 MHz frequency band allocated exclusively
to the use of SDARS.

Special Temporary Authority

On August 25, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat North America LLC, for a period of 60
days, to continue to operate its C- and Ku-band space station, Intelsat 709, at the 54.85º E.L. orbital location. Specifically, Intelsat is authorized
to conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations with the Intelsat 709 space station at the 54.85º E.L. orbital location using the
following frequencies: 6173.7 MHz and 6176.3 MHz (left-hand circular polarization/Earth-to-space); 3947.5 MHz, 3948.0 MHz , 3952.5 MHz,
and 3952.0 MHz (right-hand circular polarization/space-to-Earth). Intelsat is also authorized to operate the Intelsat 709 space station in the
3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 10950-11200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 11450-11700 MHz (space-to-Earth),
12500-12750 MHz (space-to-Earth), and 14000-14500 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands to provide fixed-satellite service from the 54.85º
E.L. orbital location.

On August 25, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat North America LLC, for a period of 60
days, to continue to operate the C- and Ku-band payloads aboard the Intelsat 801 space station at the 29.5 º W.L. orbital location. Specifically,
Intelsat is authorized to use the following telemetry, tracking, and telecommand frequency bands for these operations: 3947.5 MHz (RHCP),
3948.0 MHz (RHCP), 3952.0 (RHCP), and 3952.5 MHz (RHCP) (space-to-Earth); 6173.7 MHz (LHCP) and 6176.3 MHz (RHCP)
(Earth-to-space). Intelsat is also authorized to continue to operate the Fixed-Satellite Service C- and Ku-band communications payload in the
following frequency bands: 3625-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5850-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 10.95-11.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.45-11.95
GHz (space-to-Earth), 12.5-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space).

On August 27, 2010, the Satellite Division designated the above-captioned proceeding as "permit-but-disclose" for purposes of the
Commission's rules governing ex parte communications, effective immediately. We find that designating this proceeding as
"permit-but-disclose" will facilitate communications with the parties. See 47 C.F.R. §§ 1.1200(a), 1.1206 and 1.1208 note 2.
