The effective date of these actions is the release date of this Notice, except where an effective date is specified. SAT-STA-20100525-00108 E E2135 SES Americom, Inc. Special Temporary Authority Granted in Part/ Deferred in Part Effective Date: 07/12/2010 On July 12, 2010, the Satellite Division granted in part, with conditions, and deferred in part, the application of SES Americom, Inc., for special temporary authority. SES Americom is authorized, for a period of 60 days beginning on July 12, 2010, to conduct telemetry, tracking and telecommand necessary to drift its Ku-band space station, AMC-4, from the 101º W.L. orbital location to the 67º W.L. orbital location, and to maintain AMC-4 at the 67º W.L. orbital location upon arrival. SES Americom is authorized to conduct TT&C operations on the 6423.5 MHz (Earth-to-space) and 3700.5 MHz, 11.702 GHz and 12.198 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequencies. SES Americom’s request to operate the communications payload on the AMC-4 space station at the 67º W.L. orbital location was deferred. SAT-STA-20100615-00133 E S2811 EchoStar Corporation Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 07/09/2010 On July 9, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of EchoStar Corporation for special temporary authority for a period of 30 days commencing on July 10, 2010, to conduct in-orbit testing on Direct Broadcast Satellite Service channel 23 at the 61.55º W.L. orbital location.
