On May 12, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of EchoStar Corporation for special temporary authority for a period
of 180 days, commencing on April 24, 2010, to continue operating the tracking, telemetry, and command functions necessary to maintain the
EchoStar 8 satellite at the 77° W.L. orbital location and to operate the EchoStar 8 satellite at that location.

On May 12, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of EchoStar Corporation for renewal of special temporary authority
to operate the EchoStar 12 space station at the 61.35º W.L. orbital location for a period of 60 days commencing on April 21, 2010.

Nature of Service:       Fixed Satellite Service


On May 12, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat North America, LLC, for a period of 60
days to continue to operate the C- and Ku-band payloads aboard the Intelsat 801 space station at the 29.5 º W.L. orbital location. Specifically,
Intelsat is authorized to use the following telemetry, tracking, and telecommand (TT&C) frequency bands for these operations: 3947.5 MHz
(RHCP), 3948.0 MHz (RHCP), 3952.0 (RHCP), and 3952.5 MHz (RHCP) (space-to-Earth); 6173.7 MHz (LHCP) and 6176.3 MHz (RHCP)
(Earth-to-space). Intelsat is authorized to continue to operate the Fixed-Satellite Service C- and Ku-band communications payload in the
following frequency bands: 3625-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5850-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 10.95-11.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.45-11.95
GHz (space-to-Earth), 12.5-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space).

On May 12, 2010, the Satellite Division granted the request of SES Americom, Inc. to conduct operations of the AMC-11 satellite in the
conventional C-band (3700-4200 MHz space-to-Earth/5925-6425 MHz Earth-to-space) at locations up to 0.5 degrees to the east and west of its
assigned orbital location of 131 W.L. for a period of 30 days, commencing May 20, 2010.

On May 11, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to PanAmSat Licensee Corp. for a period of 30
days, commencing on May 10, 2010, to continue to conduct telemetry, tracking and telecommand (TT&C) necessary to complete the drift of the
Galaxy 12 space station from the 133.3º W.L. orbital location to the 133.0º W.L. orbital location, using the following frequencies: 6424.5 MHz
(Earth-to-space; right-hand circular and vertical polarization); 4198 MHz (space-to-Earth; left-hand circular and horizontal polarization); and
4199.875 MHz (space-to-Earth; left-hand circular and horizontal polarization). Additionally, PanAmSat is authorized to operate the Galaxy 12
space station in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequencies to provide fixed-satellite service (FSS)
during Galaxy 12's drift between the 133.3º W.L. and 133.0º W.L. orbital locations, and while located at the 133.0º W.L. orbital location.

Special Temporary Authority
Grant of Authority                                                                                                Effective Date:     05/12/2010



On May 12, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC for special temporary authority, for a
period of 30 days, commencing on May 14, 2010, to conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations with the DIRECTV 10 space
station during a drift of the space station from the 102.815º W.L. orbital location to the 102.6º W.L. orbital location. DIRECTV is authorized to
provide commercial service to its subscribers during the drift of the DIRECTV 10 space station from the 102.815º W.L. orbital location to the
102.6º W.L. orbital location, and at the 102.6º W.L. orbital location, while DIRECTV transfers all customer traffic from the DIRECTV 10 space
station to the DIRECTV 12 space station.
