On September 8, 2009, the Satellite Policy Branch granted, with conditions, Inmarsat plc's petition, as amended by File No.
SAT-APL-20090609-00068, to add the Inmarsat 2F1 satellite at the 142º W.L. orbital location in the 1530-1548 and 1626.5-1649.5 MHz bands to
the Commission's "ISAT List." Accordingly, any U.S.-licensed earth station with an ISAT authorization is permitted to access the Inmarsat 2F1
satellite at the 142º W.L. orbital location in the 1530-1548 and 1626.5-1649.5 MHz bands without additional authorization from the Commission,
provided that the earth station complies with the Commission's technical requirements and operates under the conditions on its license.

Special Temporary Authority
Grant of Authority                                                                                               Effective Date:     09/04/2009



On September 4, 2009, the Policy Branch granted the request of Intelsat North America LLC for special temporary authority to continue operating
the Intelsat 706 space station at the 54.85° E.L. orbital location for a period of 30 days commencing on September 6, 2009. Operations pursuant
to this authorization shall be in accordance with conditions imposed as part of Intelsat 706's authorization to operate at this orbital location
granted on March 20, 2009. See IBFS File No. SAT-MOD-20081124-00218 (grant stamp, dated March 20, 2009).

On August 27, 2009, Intelsat North America LLC surrendered its 17/24 GHz Broadcasting Satellite Service authorization at the 99.10° W.L.
orbital location. See Letter from Jennifer D. Hindin, Counsel to Intelsat North America LLC, to Marlene H. Dortch, Secretary, Federal
Communications Commission, dated August 27, 2009. Applicants may file applications for new space stations, market access by non-U.S.
licensed space stations, modifications to licensed space stations, or amendments to pending applications that take this surrender into account
in conjunction with the fact that a bond was filed for call sign: S2711. See 17/24 GHz BSS Order on Reconsideration, docket number
06-123, 22 FCC Rcd 17951, 17965 (2007). Accordingly, the spectrum available for reassignment as a result of this surrender is limited to
the 17.7-17.8 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 25.15-25.25 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands, and is available for reassignment effective 2:00
p.m. EDT on day this Public Notice is released.

day this Public Notice is released. Applicants may file applications for new space stations, market access by non-U.S. licensed space
stations, modifications to licensed space stations, or amendments to pending applications that take this surrender (and also the surrender of
