On July 31, 2009, the Policy Branch granted, subject to conditions, the request of EchoStar Satellite Operating L.L.C. for special temporary
authority for a period of 30 days, commencing on August 3, 2009, to perform tracking, telemetry, and command (TT&C) functions with the
EchoStar 5 satellite (Call Sign S2658) to execute end-of-life maneuvers boosting the satellite to a disposal orbit above the geostationary arc.

On July 14, 2009, Intelsat North America LLC surrendered its 17/24 GHz Broadcasting Satellite Service authorization at the 122.90° W.L.
orbital location. See Letter from Jennifer D. Hindin, Counsel to Intelsat North America LLC, to Marlene H. Dortch, Secretary, Federal
Communications Commission, dated July 14, 2009. The 24.75-25.25 GHz (Earth-to-space) and 17.3-17.8 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequencies
previously assigned to Intelsat at the 122.90° W.L. orbital location are available for reassignment effective 2:00 p.m. EDT on the date this
Public Notice is released. Applicants may file applications for new space stations, market access by non-U.S. licensed space stations,
modifications to licensed space stations, or amendments to pending applications that take this surrender into account. See 17/24 GHz BSS
