The Commission reserves the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public Notice may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions, oppositions and other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's rules, unless otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154. SAT-MOD-20090617-00070 E S2633 TerreStar Networks Inc. Date Filed: 06/17/2009 13:56:17:04300 Modification TerreStar Networks Inc. requests an extension of the milestone date for launching its geostationary satellite, TerreStar-1, from June 30, 2009, through and including July 7, 2009. TerreStar states that the satellite has been constructed and is ready for launch, but that the launch has been postponed to allow additional time to investigate the recent in-orbit anomaly of another satellite with components built by the same satellite vendor. A new launch date of July 1, 2009, has been agreed on by TerreStar and its launch service provider. In light of this new launch date, comments are due no later than June 26, 2009, and replies are due no later than June 30, 2009. SAT-RPL-20090123-00007 E S2785 PanAmSat Licensee Corp. Date Filed: 01/23/2009 17:26:00:16600 Replacement Satellite Application (no new frequency) PanAmSat Licensee Corp. (PanAmSat) seeks authority to launch and operate a C-/Ku-band space station, to be known as Intelsat 14, at the 45.0 WL orbital location. PanAmSat seeks to operate the Intelsat 14 space station on a non-common carrier basis in the 3700-4200 MHz, 5925-6425 MHz, 11.45-11.95 GHz, and 14.0-14.5 GHz frequency bands. PanAmSat states that the Intelsat 14 space station is a replacement for the Intelsat 1R space station (Call Sign S2368) currently operating at 45.0 WL. PanAmSat states that it is not required to post a bond for the Intelsat 14 space station since it is a replacement satellite as defined by Section 25.165(e) of the Commission's rules. In addition, PanAmSat seeks waivers of Sections 25.114(d)(3), 25.210(a)(2), 25.210(a)(3), and 25.210(i) of the Commission's rules.
