                                            Satellite Space Applications Accepted for Filing
The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission
reserves the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public
Notice may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions,
oppositions and other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's
rules, unless otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

PanAmSat Licensee Corp. (PanAmSat) requests authority to modify the license for its Intelsat 11 space station in order to relocate and operate the
space station at the 43.0° W.L. orbital location, rather than its currently licensed orbital location of 43.1° W.L. PanAmSat requests waivers of
Sections 25.210(i), 25.210(a)(3), 25.114(d)(3) and 25.283(c) of the Commission’s rules. PanAmSat expects to begin drifting the Intelsat 11 space
station to the 43.0° W.L. orbital location in April 2009.

Special Temporary Authority


PanAmSat Licensee Corp. (PanAmSat) requests special temporary authority (STA) for a period of 180 days in order to drift its Intelsat 3R space
station to, and to temporarily operate it at, the 43.1° W.L. orbital location, rather than its currently licensed orbital location of 43.0° WL . During
the drift PanAmSat will utilize only telemetry, tracking, and control (TT&C) frequencies 5929.5-6424.5 MHz (Earth-to-space) and 4198.5-4199
MHz (space-to-Earth), and will coordinate such transmissions during the relocation process. PanAmSat expects to begin drifting the Intelsat 3R
space station to the 43.1° W.L. orbital location in April 2009.
