The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission
reserves the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public
Notice may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions,
oppositions and other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's
rules, unless otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

Special Temporary Authority


Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. (Sirius) requests special temporary authority for a period of 180 days to operate one terrestrial repeater at a power at or
below 200 W EIRP and one or more terrestrial repeaters at power levels of 0.0001 W EIRP indoors at various trade shows occuring between
August 19, 2008, and January 25, 2009. Sirius states that these repeaters are necessary to carry out equipment and service demonstrations where
signals from satellites and other repeaters are not available. Sirius states that it will operate these repeaters in its licensed frequency band
(2320-2332.5 MHz), which is allocated exclusively for the use of the Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS).
