Special Temporary Authority

On May 30, 2008, the Satellite Policy Branch granted with conditions special temporary authority to PanAmSat Licensee Corp. to continue for 30
days from May 4, 2008 through June 2, 2008, to operate Galaxy 17 satellite at the 122.9 W.L. orbital location, in the 5925-6425 MHz
(Earth-to-Space) and 3700-4200 MHz (Space-to-Earth) conventional C-band frequencies, and in the 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-Space) and
11.7-12.2 GHz (Space to Earth) conventional Ku-band frequencies. Also, PanAmSat is authorized to conduct TT&C operations in the 5925.5
MHz (LHCP), 6424.5 MHz (RHCP), 5925.5 MHz (H) and 6424.5 MHz (V); 4197.125 MHz (H), 4197.125 MHz (LHCP), 4198.875 MHz (H)
and 4198.875 (RHCP) frequencies bands to effect Galaxy 17's operations at the 122.9 W.L. orbital location, in accordance with the terms,
conditions and technical specifications set forth in its application, the attachment to grant, and the Commission's rules.

Special Temporary Authority

On June 2, 2008, XM Radio Inc. filed a request to withdraw its application for special temporary authority to operate one very low power
terrestrial repeater (less than 2kW EIRP) at an XM office site in Vienna, Virginia. The request is granted.
