Special Temporary Authority

On January 31, 2008, Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. (Sirius) requested special temporary authority to increase the power of fifteen existing terrestrial
repeaters to 2000 watts equivalent isotropically radiated power (EIRP) for a period of 180-days. Currently, the repeaters are operating at power
levels approved by the Commission, which range from 150 to 800 watts EIRP. Sirius states the increase is necessary to improve terrestrial
