The Satellite Policy Branch granted SES Americom, Inc. special temporary authority, for a period of 60 days commencing on February 22, 2008,
to drift the AMC-2 satellite (Call Sign: S2134) to the 101° W.L. orbital location using the 6423.5 MHz carrier for telecommand transmissions and
the 3700.5 MHz, 4199.5 MHz, and 12198.0 MHz carriers for telemetry beacons, and to operate the satellite at the 101° W.L. orbital location
using the 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space) and 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth) conventional C-band frequencies, and the 14.0-14.5 GHz
(Earth-to-space) and 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) conventional Ku-band frequencies. These operations are authorized in accordance with the
terms, conditions, and technical specifications set forth in its application, the Commission's rules, and the attachment to the grant.
