On February 4, 2008, the Satellite Division granted with conditions special temporary authority to Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. to operate 15
terrestrial repeaters at power levels at or below 2 kW Effective Isotropically Radiated Power for a period of 180 days, in the following cities:
Baltimore, MD, Chicago, IL, Cincinnati, OH, Miami, FL, New York, NY, Bogota, NJ, Wayne, NJ, Philadelphia, PA, Sacramento, CA, and
Washington, D.C. from February 4, 2008 through August 1, 2008.

Special Temporary Authority

On February 5, 2008, the Satellite Policy Branch granted with conditions special temporary authority to XM Radio Inc. to operate one indoor
terrestrial repeater in Vienna, VA, with an Effective Isotropically Radiated Power of up to 0.5 watts (average) for 180 days from February 6, 2008
to August 3, 2008, according to the terms, conditions, and technical specifications set forth in XM's application, the attachment to the grant and
the Commission's rules.

The Bureau has determined that Star One S.A. has met the Launch and Operate milestone associated with this grant. The Bureau previously
determined Star One S.A. had meet the first 3 milestones. See Public Notice Report No. SAT-00375 (Jul. 7, 2006) and Public Notice Report
No. SAT-00469 (Aug. 31, 2007). Consequently, Star One S.A. may release the bond associated with this grant as provided in Amendment
of the Commission's Space Station Licensing Rules and Policies, First Report and Order and Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, IB
Docket No. 02-34, 18 FCC Rcd 10760 (2003), and Amendment of the Commission's Space Station Licensing Rules and Policies, First
Order on Reconsideration and Fifth Report and Order, IB Docket No. 02-34, 19 FCC Rcd 12637 (2004).
