The applications listed below have been found, upon initial review, to be acceptable for filing. The Commission
reserves the right to return any of the applications if, upon further examination, it is determined the application is not in
conformance with the Commission's rules or its policies. Consideration of each satellite application in this Public
Notice may depend on the Commission's action on another satellite application earlier in the queue. Petitions,
oppositions and other pleadings filed in response to this notice should conform to Section 25.154 of the Commission's
rules, unless otherwise noted. 47 C.F.R. § 25.154.

Special Temporary Authority


On December 13, 2007, Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. filed a request for special temporary authority for a period of 180 days to operate 15 new
satellite digital audio radio service (SDARS) terrestrial repeaters at power levels at or below 2 kW equivalent isotropically radiated power (EIRP)
(average) in the following cities: Baltimore, MD, Chicago, IL, Cincinnati, OH, Miami, FL, New York, NY, Bogota, NJ, Wayne, NJ, Philadelphia,
PA, Sacramento, CA, and Washington, D.C. Sirius states that it has identified these sites as necessary to the provision of its commercial SDARS.

Special Temporary Authority


On December 19, 2007, XM Radio Inc. (XM) filed a request for special temporary authority to operate a very low power repeater (not exceeding
0.5 watts EIRP) at its office building in Vienna, Virginia for 180 days. XM states that use of the repeater is necessary to provide XM’s signal to
its employees in the building.
