SAT-MOD-20060821-00090 E S2590 Satelites Mexicanos S. A. de C. V.
Date Filed: 08/21/2006 14:48:29:42600
Modification

Satélites Mexicanos S. A. de C. V. ("SatMex") has moved its Solidaridad 2 satellite from its current location at 113° W.L. to 114.9°
W.L. and requests that its Permitted Space Station entry be modified to authorize operations within the United States from the new
orbital location. The Solidaridad 2 satellite is a hybrid C- and Ku-band satellite operating in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth),
5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Satmex is
requesting authority to provide Fixed-Satellite Services (FSS) covered by the WTO Telecom Agreement and FSS Direct-to-Home
(DTH) services covered by the U.S. and Mexican Bilateral Agreement using its Solidaridad 2 satellite from the 114.9° W.L. orbital
location.

Solidaridad 2 has been removed from the Permitted List -- and is not an authorized point of communication for earth stations in the
United States -- pending action on this modification application.
