The effective date of these actions is the release date of this Notice, except were an effective date is specified. SAT-PPL-20060330-00035 E S2696 SES Satellites (Gibraltar) Limited Petition for Declaratory Ruling to be Added to the Permitted List Grant of Authority Effective Date: 06/21/2006 Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On June 21, 2006, the Policy Branch granted with conditions pursuant to Sections 303(r), 308, 309, and 310 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. §§ 303(r), 308, 309, and 310, and Sections 0.261 and 25.137(c) of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R. §§ 0.261, and 25.137(c), the petition for declaratory ruling filed by SES Satellites (Gibraltar) Ltd., SAT-PPL-20060330-00035, to add the C-band Satcom C-4 satellite located at the 104.95º W.L. orbital location, which is licensed by Gibraltar, to the Commission's Permitted Space Station List. Accordingly, each earth station with "ALSAT" designated as a point of communication IS GRANTED authority to provide Fixed Satellite Services (FSS) to, from, or within the United States, by accessing the Satcom C-4 satellite at the 104.95º W.L. orbital location in the 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space) and 3700-4200 (space-to-Earth) MHz frequency bands, in accordance with the technical specifications set forth in the petition for declaratory ruling, this Attachment, and the Commission's Rules and subject to the conditions attached to the grant. This action is effective upon the date that the Satcom C-4 satellite reaches the 104.95º W.L. orbital location and the U.S. license for that satellite is terminated. Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 06/16/2006 Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On June 16, 2006, the Policy Branch granted with conditions, SES Americom, Inc.'s (SES Americom) request for special temporary authority, IBFS File No. SAT-STA-20060330-000341, Call Sign: S2446. Accordingly, SES Americom is authorized to conduct telemetry, tracking and control operations related to the relocation of the Satcom C-4 satellite to the 104.95º W.L. orbital location commencing on June 16, 2006 and continuing for 60 days in accordance with the terms, conditions, and technical specifications set forth in the Commission's rules. Effective upon the date the Satcom C-4 satellite reaches the 104.95º W.L. orbital location, the U.S. license for that satellite (Call Sign: S2446) is terminated. Special Temporary Authority Grant of Authority Effective Date: 06/19/2006 On June 19, 2006, the Policy Branch granted with conditions XM Radio Inc.'s request for a 180 day special temporary authority to operate one terrestrial repeater with a power level less than 2 kW EIRP at weekly PGA Tour events occurring at various locations commencing on July 15, 2006 in accordance with the technical parameters specified in the application and the conditions of grant.
