Nature of Service:    Direct to Home Fixed Satellite, Fixed Satellite Service


On June 8, 2006, the Policy Branch granted with conditions SES Americom, Inc.'s (SES Americom) request for a modification, IBFS
File No.SAT-MOD-20060410-00041, of its authorization to relocate its in-orbit hybrid Ka/Ku-band satellite, AMC-15, from 105º
W.L. orbital location to the 105.05º W.L. orbital location. Accordingly, SES Americom is authorized to operate its AMC-15 satellite
at the 105.05 W.L. orbital location, with ±0.05 longitudinal station-keeping, in the 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 14.0-14.5 GHz
(Earth-to-space), 18.6-18.8 GHz and 19.7-20.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 28.4-28.6 GHz and 29.5-30.0 GHz (Earth-to-space)
frequency bands. Other than the change in orbital location, the conditions contained in the prior authorization otherwise remain in
effect and the AMC-15 satellite will operate in accordance with the Commission's rules, the terms, conditions, and technical
specifications set forth in its application, the prior authorization, and the Attachment to the grant.

Special Temporary Authority

On June 8, 2006, the Policy Branch granted with conditions PanAmSat Licensee Corp.'s (PanAmSat) request for Special Temporary
Authority (STA), IBFS File No. SAT-STA-20060507-00055, to perform in-orbit testing (IOT) of its hybrid C- and Ku-band satellite,
Galaxy-16, at the 76.5° W.L. orbital location for a period of 30 days IS GRANTED. Accordingly, PanAmSat is authorized on a non
interference basis to perform IOT at 76.5° W.L. on the Galaxy 16 satellite using the C-band frequencies of 5925 - 6425 MHz (Earth to
space), 3700 - 4200 MHz (space to Earth), and Ku-band frequencies of 14000 - 14500 MHz (Earth to space), 11700 - 12200 MHz
(space to Earth) and the Tracking, Telemetry, and Command (TT&C) frequencies for which it is regularly authorized, IBFS File No.
SAT-RPL-2005118-00233, for 30 days, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and technical specifications set forth in its
application, the Attachment to grant, and the Federal Communications Commission's Rules.
