On September 21, 2005, EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation (EchoStar) filed a letter with the Secretary, Federal
Communications Commission, among other things, withdrawing a pending modification application, File No.
SAT-MOD-20050513-00103, which sought an authority to remove its a Direct Broadcast Satellite, EchoStar 4, from the 157°
W.L. orbital location for more than 90 days without terminating its authorization to operate on at that location on channels 1,
7, and 11 automatically canceling pursuant to Section 25.161(c) of the Commission's rules.
